Attendees to Marceau’s funeral were speechless. However, there was a lot of pointing and other gesturing going on. The famed pantomime artist was not buried in a regular casket, but an invisible box Marceau had fashion for himself during his last breath.

The preacher presiding over the funeral did not say and word, but rather gestured towards his eye as if a tear were falling from it. During the open casket viewing, painted smiles were turned upside down into frowns as many coworkers in the mime field were fashioning their own invisible boxes from which to escape.

During his last hours in the hospital, Marceau’s relatives reportedly asked him to say his last words. Marcel Marceau replied “Ack!” During the funeral, the Simon and Garfunkle song “Sounds of Silence” was played repeatedly.

The scofflaw starlets have struck many a media fancy lately, so I just had to jump on the bandwagon, fire up the band, and create a banner that encapsulates the whole phenomenon.

In keeping with the “Stars Behind Bars” theme, I thought a feminine version would suffice and so I present “Celebrity Jail. That’s Hot!” Of course, expect a starlets in rehab t-shirt to be coming out soon as well.

Apparently, the nude t-shirt sighting happened over the Easter weekend when Swank and Campisi were on a romantic getaway in Italy. In spite of all the paparazzi around, there were no actual sightings of Campisi actually wearing a nude Hilary Swank, however.

In addition, the nude Woody Allen t-shirt created absolutely no buzz.

All humor aside, the t-shirts are for a good cause as the proceeds go to children who have been victimized by violence in Colombia. Shakira along with Hard Rock have unveiled their new Signature Series T-shirt.

While perhaps not as funny as the t-shirts as the ones on this site, they are nonetheless helping those who need help. Perhaps now that Britney has shaved her head and gone into rehab, she too may have a little extra time for t-shirt design. Though with her, I would rather she come up with a Britney bald bobblehead for the summer selling season.

Apparently, there are not a ton of celebrities who are into blogging right now, but this is expected to change in 2006. I just can’t wait for the Anna Nicole or Paris Hilton blogs to come online (sarcasm is many times lost in print).

I do think, however, in 2006 more and more celebrities will be reaching out to their fans via blogs. It’s the perfect medium for a little public relations and in fact, many celebrities, will probably have their PR firm or some ghost writer writing their blogs for them.

Anyway, smoke and mirrors or not, its good to know what some celebrities like James Frey, author of “A Million Little Pieces” will have to say, (if it is indeed him saying it and if it is indeed the truth). You can’t really blame Frey for the fabrications in his book, though. Isn’t that what addicts typically do?

Anyway, what is it I’m trying to say? I dunno. The coffee has failed to kick in, so the only thing I’m certain about right now is the fact that I’m going to go take a nap.
